Rhythm 401 Review
Rhythm releases their new Rhythm 401 App, packed full of everything a 4-way jumper would ever wish to know...
Your dream is to visit a boogie next to the Sea, with Sun, big white sand beaches with no human being around, a 5 star hotel with swimming pool and a gastronomic restaurant?
YOU CAN STOP READING THIS MESSAGE; THIS IS NOT WHAT WE ARE TALKING … TODAY!
You want to trudge through the jungle with bloodthirsty mercenaries, Rambo's knife between your teeth and you want to be dropped in the middle of forests infested with snakes and poisonous spiders, hunt them with your bare hands and nibble them with a hand, in the evening, in your hammock, while with the other hand you chase mosquitoes as big as small cats?
But, would you tell me, what is this Royal Thai Boogie 2018?
This is a skydiver meeting organized by Thai army for civilian (like us) and military peoples. They would use a lot of different dropping aircrafts (Balloons, Chopper UH-1 Huey, UH-60 Blackhawk, MI-17, Bell 212 and planes Casa 212 and Casa 295) and even (for the bravest) the opportunity to made automatic jumps with military equipment (Round!)
I can promise you it would be an extraordinary adventure
The meet would be at Lopburi (150 km North/North-East from Bangkok) and would be a real “immersion” in then TRUE Thailand, far away from touristic place/circuits.
Lopburi (25'000 inhabitants) has very few tourists, but there are some hotels where it is not necessary to fight all night with bugs … (something like a 2-3 stars in Europe/America!)
This boogie is organized by (and sometime FOR) military, that's why it's a bit more complicated than what we are current with. We should specify which days we would participate (there is a “registration fee” of 65 US$ per day) which planes/choppers we would jump and the jump price depend on which “machine” we want to use!
Would we jump a lot and build extraordinary big ways? I can't promise you anything! But I can promise it would be an extraordinary adventure! Even if we have some small problems (There are always little bugs, even when we know perfectly the place/peoples …), the participants of this trip would go back home with the head full of “souvenirs” … and for a long time!
