Vertical Sequential World Record Attempts Planned for 2020

Vertical Sequential World Record [VSWR] organizers, Melissa Nelson Lowe and Matthew Fry are planning the next world record attempts at Skydive Chicago June 25th-28th, 2020.

New Rules

After the last event in 2018, which led to a successful 4-Point 42-way, the organizers realized the rules were inhibiting the growth of the discipline, as they had been drafted originally for belly flying. We sought international input, and had help from many others to help present a new set of rules to the IPC in hopes to continue moving forward with the discipline. Earlier this year, the IPC adopted the new rules presented by Matthew Fry.

Record Warm-up events

In preparation of the upcoming world record attempts, two lead-up events will be held to test out the new rules, and to have fun doing complex multi-point big ways.

Event #1 – multi-point 20/40-Ways

Skydive Chicago, August 9th – 11th 2020

Event #2 – multi-point 60-Ways

Skydive Sebastian, February 21st – 23rd, 2020
