Pete will be running courses throughout Europe focussing on Spain and Italy. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Pete started jumping in &#8217;79, has over 30,000 jumps, and has been in the sport all his life, competing for 35 years. He has a strong competition history in both Canopy Piloting and Formation Skydiving, having represented Italy in both disciplines at World Level, and been Italian national champion 5 times. Pete won a CP World Championship medal  and has many FS World Championship and World Cup medals. Pete is also a veteran UK 4-way and 8-way competitor, National Champion 18 times! Pete&#8217;s teams used to often do the grand slam of winning both 4-way and 8-way at UK Nationals. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Flight-1 Sport Instructor Forum\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/d00312f0-c71d-4d02-8abd-cbd3681913da.jpeg\"><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Very informative instructor forum at Flight-1 in Deland, thanks  to Maxine, Jo Jo and Brian. I&#039;m looking forward to teaching and using that information \u2013 hopefully not the first aid!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/p>\n<h1>Mental Coach<\/h1>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Pete is a well known coach of countless teams, through <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uktunnelcamp.com\">UK Tunnel Camp<\/a> and his current home drop zone at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.skydiveempuriabrava.com\">Skydive Empuriabrava<\/a>. Pete exudes calm, he has always excelled at mental aspects of coaching and doubtless will bring this strength to play in canopy piloting. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Speedfly Safety on Tour\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/afbfb290-b7ed-4258-8bd9-11b500d79a7b.jpg\"><\/p>\n<h1>Safety<\/h1>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Pete has done a lot to save lives. In 2011 &#x26; 12 he traveled around Italy giving his safety presentation &#8216;fuelled by espresso in a Fiat 500&#8217;. This was reformatted to <a href=\"\/latest\">Skydive Mag&#8217;s<\/a> most popular safety article ever, <a href=\"\/article\/speedfly-safety-1\">The Two Ways to Die<\/a>. Pete&#8217;s written many <a href=\"\/article\/the-second-way-to-die\">more<\/a> great articles.
