{"id":16505,"date":"2014-03-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-03-27T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/skydivemag.com\/new\/?p=16505"},"modified":"2014-03-27T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2014-03-27T00:00:00","slug":"2014-03-27-new-mexican-record","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/2014-03-27-new-mexican-record\/","title":{"rendered":"New Mexican Record"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Mexican Record 40-way\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/b3edd119-70b4-40e1-b354-84d8a70c3aa9.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>40 Mexican jumpers completed the formation to achieve the new Mexican Record, on 17 February 2014.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>40 of the most experienced skydivers in the country met in one of the most important DZ\u00b4s in Latin america <a href=\"http:\/\/skydivecuautla.com\">Skydive Cuautla<\/a>, located in Cuautla Morelos, M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>They had to deal with some aircraft and altitude problems, but finally achieved their goal. After some practice jumps, the captain Jose Alvarez (&#8216;Nacho&#8217;) did some last minute changes and finally the group set the new record on the 9th jump, holding it for 9 seconds. The successful skydive was from 14,000 feet out of three aircraft; a SkyVan, Twin Otter and a Kodiak<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The event was another safe and productive one organized by team <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mextreme.com.mx\">MeXtreme<\/a>. Help and support were offered by Laura Escobedo, Negro Novoa and Antonio Monta\u00f1o. The cameraman was Javier &#8216;Buzz&#8217; Ortiz.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The record will be registered with the <a href=\"http:\/\/fai.org\">FAI<\/a>. This is the second recent triumph for <a href=\"http:\/\/skydivecuautla.com\">Skydive Cuautla<\/a>, which hosted a <a href=\"\/article\/mexican-female-record\">Ladies Mexican Record<\/a> of 19 several weeks previously. Plus, an unofficial 16-way head-down record was set at the <a href=\"\/article\/pachanga-boogie\">Pachanga Boogie<\/a>. A video of the news coverage is below; and the record video is at the bottom of this page, after the Spanish version of this article.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GL6mFNcI5Qw&#038;feature=youtube_gdata_player\">On the News \u2013 Paracaidistas rompen r\u00e9cord nacional en Morelos<\/a><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/d58d71a5-f032-4033-b2c1-232892089012.jpeg\"><\/p>\n<h1>Organiza MeXtreme<\/h1>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>Capitan del grupo:<\/em> Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Alvarez<br \/>\n<em>Lugar:<\/em> Skydive Cuautla<br \/>\n<em>Aeronave utilizada:<\/em> SkyVan, Twin otter y Kodiak<br \/>\n<em>Fotografo a\u00e9reo:<\/em> Javier &#8216;Buzz&#8217; Ortiz<br \/>\nFormaci\u00f3n lograda en 38 sg durante la ca\u00edda libre, logrando sostenerla por 9 sg<br \/>\nEvento avalado por la Federaci\u00f3n de paracaidismo internacional FAI por medio de la Federacion Mexicana de paracaidismo.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mextreme.com.mx\">MeXtreme<\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>El evento se llevo a cabo en las instalaciones de <a href=\"http:\/\/skydivecuautla.com\">Skydive Cuautla<\/a>, reuniendo a 50 paracaidistas nacionales con el fin de lograr una nueva meta. La tarea en esta ocasi\u00f3n fue muy dificil por factores externos que afectaron el transcurso del evento como algunas fallas t\u00e9cnicas con una aeronave, problemas con la altitud de los saltos y trabajar mucho con el animo de todos los integrantes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/858bd45f-91bb-419f-9b9c-5d72bb706ad0.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>El primer d\u00eda se hicieron algunos saltos de calentamiento mientras esper\u00e1bamos que el avi\u00f3n que volar\u00eda del lado derecho saliera de su reparaci\u00f3n, durante este d\u00eda se terminaron de calcular ciertas cosas y se practico con el grupo mas comprometido.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>El segundo d\u00eda se completo el total del grupo ya con los tres aviones listos, se comenzaron a definir ciertas posiciones, realizar saltos completos y comenzar a mover fichas para lograr los mejores resultados, aqu\u00ed tuvimos algunos contratiempos con la altura de los saltos, justo en este d\u00eda es cuando mas se necesita altura ya que todos se estan ajustando, desafortunadamente al final del d\u00eda se tuvo que aseguran una formaci\u00f3n y se redujo el tama\u00f1o de la misma para el d\u00eda tres, algunas personas entusiastas fueron v\u00edctimas de esta situaci\u00f3n y tuvieron que quedar momentane amente abajo, hab\u00eda que trabajar en el animo ya que se comenzaba a apretar el tiempo.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/477895d4-8216-4c3e-8aa3-e7dafa5c22d2.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Para el tercer salto del lunes, se pudo romper el r\u00e9cord, en este la base sali\u00f3 muy bien como ya ven\u00eda haci\u00e9ndolo y la gente se acercaba ordenadamente con rapidez y cuidado, se ve\u00eda claramente que en ese salto se completar\u00eda, de hecho la volamos por 9 sg, e incluso rompimos antes de tiempo para asegurar una mejor separaci\u00f3n una vez conseguido el objetivo, cuando bajamos de inmediato se trabajo en el plan &#8220;B&#8221; que ya se tenia previsto, subimos 46 personas tras un rapido &#8220;breafing&#8221; y realizamos el salto, este estuvo muy cerca ya que solo faltaron 2 &#8220;grips&#8221; as\u00ed es que bajando se dio la indicaci\u00f3n de empacar paraca\u00eddas lo mas rapido posible para subir de nuevo, era cosa de un salto mas para lograrlo.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>El excesivo consumo de combustible de los tres d\u00edas hab\u00eda dejado a la DZ seca, nos indican que el avi\u00f3n tiene que ir a cargar combustible a Cuernavaca y el tiempo se aprieta a\u00fan mas, checamos los tiempos y vemos muy dificil realizar el ultimo salto, aun as\u00ed nos equipamos y revisamos posiciones y al llegar a la plataforma de abordaje decidimos que no es prudente subir a realizar ese salto a esa hora y con la gente ya incomoda por las condiciones, Nacho cancela el salto y regresamos con la idea de que se hubiera logrado, pero poner asuntos de seguridad antes que un nuevo r\u00e9cord era prioridad, Asi dejaremos una nueva marca que romperemos pronto y mas experiencia en cada uno de los participantes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=i5fsYqrgtP8&#038;feature=youtube_gdata_player\">R\u00e9cord Mexicano de Paracaidismo de Formaci\u00f3n 2014<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>40 Mexican jumpers completed the formation to achieve the new Mexican Record, on 17 February 2014. 40 of the most experienced skydivers in the country met in one of the most important DZ\u00b4s in Latin america Skydive Cuautla, located in Cuautla Morelos, M\u00e9xico.
