It doesn\u2019t sound like that big of a deal until you start to play with the system, and realize that it\u2019s not just choosing a pattern. It\u2019s choosing a pattern, then scaling its size, then changing the colors\u2026 but not just some of the colors \u2013 all of the colors of each segment of the pattern. And as if that weren\u2019t enough to choose from, the color theme generator creates even more choices to warp your brain and delay all other workplace tasks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>anything that can be printed digitally can be printed onto your suit<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"A Squirrel SUPER CUSTOM suit from the Squirrel pattern design\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/c5de870c-7cec-472b-9e1b-75487c29d1ce.jpeg\"><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Carlos Pedro Brice\u00f1o, stoked with his design\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/81a41f91-9185-4178-8965-f7684d63c68e.jpeg\"><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"squirrel.ws\">Squirrel<\/a> says they do understand that approximately one bazillion pattern options are not enough for skydivers, and for that reason they can handle custom-drawn or photograph-based patterns also. Orders for your groovy idea \u2013 pink-donkey-dong, flying-pig, or roided-out unicorn \u2013 can be created in collaboration with Squirrel\u2019s graphic design department &#8211; actuallly for remarkably reasonable prices.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Kasha Farrington and her 'melons'\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/56c58933-4bcf-47fb-94a2-a6ca8fb30b03.jpeg\"><\/p>\n<p>The patterns are printed digitally directly onto the standard 210D ripstop suit fabric that is used for all Squirrel wingsuits. Apparently, anything that can be printed digitally can be printed onto your suit. There are some caveats which are clearly laid out on the suit order webpage. Squirrel says that the durability and colorfastness of the printing is quite good and will last for the life of the wingsuit when properly cared for. Delays for printed suits are only slightly longer than normal, meaning that it will probably take you longer to decide your pattern than it will for Squirrel to make and ship your gear!<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Video Tutorial<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Below and on the <a href=\"http:\/\/squirrel.ws\">Squirrel website<\/a> is a <a href=\"http:\/\/squirrel.ws\/order\/freak\">video tutorial<\/a> on using the <a href=\"http:\/\/squirrel.ws\/order\/freak\">pattern designer<\/a>. (select SUPERCUSTOM, this is for a <strong><em>Freak<\/em><\/strong> suit).
