They train hard, fly fast and seem to be totally at ease within the competition environment.<\/strong>\u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>After the interview, we drank beer, chatted and laughed a lot; I\u2019m so glad that I had the opportunity to get to know the wonderful, hilarious boys behind the cool, calm team!\u2028 Here is a sneaky peek into the wonderful world of Airspace Unleashed\u2026\u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u2028<em>Age:<\/em>\u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 26\u2028<\/li>\n<li>Fred \u2013 26<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>Country:<\/em> \u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 Canada<\/li>\n<li>Fred \u2013 Canada\u2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>How long have you been in the sport?<\/em> \u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 I\u2019ve been skydiving for 5 years and flying in the tunnel for 3 years<\/li>\n<li>Fred \u2013 \u2028 I started in the tunnel 9 years ago and began skydiving 2 years ago\u2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>What other sports do you do?<\/em> \u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 At the moment a little BASE jumping and also skydiving<\/li>\n<li>Fred \u2013 Rock climbing, running, swimming, a little free diving (but not a lot), skydiving\u2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>What do you do to help you relax before a competition?<\/em> \u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 Visualisation for sure, and trying to have plenty of self confidence \u2028<\/li>\n<li>Fred \u2013 Visualise, I like to brush my teeth\u2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>Who is supporting you?<\/em> \u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 Airspace have been incredible; so much support from them! Sonic suits too, as well as Michele Cnops, our team manager. Oh and obviously my mother is supporting me too!\u2028<\/li>\n<li>Fred \u2013 So much support from Airspace in every way, Sonic suits, my parents and family, Mich\u2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>Do you have any siblings?<\/em>\u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 No<\/li>\n<li>Fred \u2013 I have a half sister and she flies too. She is manager at Montreal\u2026 She is who got me into the sport!\u2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u2028<em>Tell me a fact that we may not know about you:<\/em> \u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 I\u2019m terrified of horses (Troy smiled) I like horse-power, not horses!\u2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>What is your biggest life goal?<\/em> \u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 I&#8217;m a dream chaser, I don\u2019t want to have to spend my life just doing work. Both parents are business owners, and it\u2019s not that I don\u2019t want to work hard, but I want to have fun\u2026 and have kids!\u2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>Who is your biggest influence in flying?<\/em> \u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 Taylor Letwin. He\u2019s pretty high up in the base jumping world and I can thank him for where I am today. He really pushed me and made me push myself. In the tunnel it\u2019s got to be H\u00e5vard Flaat and Adam Mattacola.<\/li>\n<li>Fred \u2013 When I started out it was JC Ouimet. Presently my biggest inspirations are\u2026 Havard for sure. Ahh, it\u2019s difficult to choose. Gyzmo too, I like his style!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Airspace Unleashed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/9f0b0237-e992-43c2-ae83-b9c950a2ad2d.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><em>Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?<\/em> \u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 Easy answer\u2026 I\u2019m so scared of horses. I\u2019ll fight the duck any day\u2026 Plus, I love foie gras!\u2028<\/li>\n<li>Fred \u2013 \u2028I would say the 100 horses. Ducks are vicious \u2028<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><em>Would you rather spend the rest of your life locked inside the tunnel or be locked out of every tunnel in the world forever?<\/em>\u2028<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Troy \u2013 I would pick outside. The tunnel gives me a lot, but it\u2019s not everything for sure. I don\u2019t know. They know each other inside out and they also live together.
