The 55-year-old jumped at 1,500 metres over Lake Wolfgang in Salzburg, Austria and landed perfectly on the left wing just after the seaplane had landed and come to a rest on the water. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Paul said: \u201c I have been playing with this idea for a very long time. During the guest visit of the 1950s-built American seaplane Grumann Albatross at Hangar-7 in Salzburg, I immediately saw my chance to put this dream into action.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Paul Steiner lands on a Grumman Albatross seaplane\" src=\"https:\/\/www.skydivemag.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/\/ab0e228d-5ee7-4b14-804f-12be4803983a.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>The plane was piloted by Flying Bulls chief pilot Raimund Riedmann. Steiner had only a two-metre landing strip to land on. He celebrated with a punch of the air from the wing of the aircraft followed by a dive into the summer waters below.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Steiner has made 5,560 jumps, his highest being from 10,100m from a hot air balloon. He&#8217;s also landed on a hot air balloon and a hang glider released by a hot air balloon.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cFlying is addictive. Anyone who practices air sports knows this.
