IMO the below are completely untrue…<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Some you may have heard spoken aloud. But the most potentially dangerous are those that are not, they can be inherent preconceptions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Being an awesome tunnel flyer automatically makes you a great canopy pilot<\/li>
  2. Slow is fast (WTF?! Slow is slow)<\/li>
  3. Pulling your reserve handle doesn\u2019t matter if you have a Skyhook or a Cypres<\/li>
  4. You must have new gear after AFF even if you can\u2019t afford so much coaching \/ jumps \/ tunnel (save your money for when you can stand up all your landings)<\/em><\/li>
  5. If you have a high performance canopy, you don\u2019t have to worry about turbulence<\/li>
  6. Chicks dig scars (did any female confirm this, ever?)<\/em><\/li>
  7. Gear checks every jump aren\u2019t important, as long as you check your rig in the morning<\/li>
  8. Downsizing will improve your landings<\/li>
  9. You don\u2019t have to look out the door on the green light, the pilot has GPS (would you cross the road without looking?)<\/em><\/li>
  10. You have to jump a small canopy to have fun\/be cool<\/li>
  11. It\u2019s not worth building competitions into your training plan, better to spend all your money on jumps<\/li>
  12. You get the best advice asking your skydiving question on Facebook<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
