But I have NOT retired from flying, <\/p><p>just from American Airlines  <\/p><cite>Gulcin Gilbert<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gulcin started skydiving in 1976 and she started flying planes the same year. She got her license in 1977, was a private pilot for 10 years and began flying skydivers in 1987. This was just the start of an incredible journey that took her all over the world and got her many big-way world records. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Jump for the Cause <\/em><\/strong>women&#8217;s skydiving events were the ones that she remembers most fondly &#8211; charitable events for breast cancer research and care that were organized at <a aria-label=\"undefined (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/skydiveperris.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Skydive Perris<\/a>, California.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
