The result is a &#8220;ring of fire\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Saturday, Oct. 14, at approximately 10:24 AM, the sky over Spaceland San Marcos will begin to darken as the moon moves in front of the sun to begin an &#8220;Annular Solar Eclipse&#8221;, AKA &#8220;Ring of Fire.&#8221;&nbsp; The entire eclipse, from the moon first appearing to take a bite out of the sun to when the sun is \u201cwhole again,\u201d will take approx. 3 hours, 9 minutes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Licensed jumpers as well as tandems will have the opportunity to make skydives during the entire eclipse cycle, with the \u201ctotality\u201dportion of the eclipse lasting only 6 minutes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the skydives, registered jumpers will receive solar glasses, T-shirts, commemorative stainless coffee thermoses, and vouchers for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100066738202436\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tru Love Coffee<\/a>&nbsp;(which will be on site for the event with a fancy coffee designed just for the event)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
