Being able to fly is like a dream. For many people it’s a passionate desire. It’s an escape from everyday physical law into the realm of endless possibilities. It’s a form of expression and, therefore, a form of art. Together with all the motivated and skilled flyers that are out there, we’ll keep pushing the limits and take human flight to a whole new level.

SPEEDRIDING
Speedriding is a relatively new sport. It’s a mix between skiing, paragliding and parachuting and it’s extremely addictive! It’s safe to learn, provided that you be taught by an experienced speedrider. If you don’t respect certain rules and learning steps, it can be very dangerous. Our friends at ASKA Sports organize speedriding weeks in the French Alps for beginners as well as experienced speedriders. These weeks are accessible and affordable and we strongly advise everyone to join, instead of trying to reinvent the sport yourself. We’ve already done that for you.
Qualified Instruction
All courses are guided by instructors that have paragliding and speedriding instruction papers, and are also licenced to guide you off-piste. Courses are available in English, French and Dutch and take place in Tignes/Val d’Isere. Gear is included for beginners. For experienced speedriders there is rental gear available.
You don’t need any skydiving or paragliding experience but you do need skiing skills. You’ll be learning this sport off-piste so you need to be able to ski there. We don’t yet teach speedriding to snowboarders as it is extra difficult due to the harness position.
New Year Course
The next course starts on 12 January 2014. If you’re interested in joining or if you want more information, please send us an email or use the contact form on our website.

COWBOY CAMP
Also on offer from Tora-Tora, the Cowboy Camp is the perfect mix between a skills camp and a boogie, specially designed for those who are looking to massively improve their skills, while having an awesome time. When creating this event we’ve tried to put in as much quality as we can, while still keeping it affordable for participants. A true ‘by skydivers – for skydivers’ deal. On this two week camp in the Arizona desert, we combine organized freeflying and/or wingsuit flocking in small and large groups with 1-on-1 coaching jumps, wind tunnel coaching, canopy coaching, canopy flocking, balloon jumps, beers, sushi, and lots more.

Special People
What makes this camp special is the intensive personal guidance and attention of highly experienced coaches, combined with all the fun and relaxed atmosphere of organized jumping at a boogie. You can create your own package by adding 1-on-1 jumps and/or wind tunnel coaching. Besides that, you’ll be jumping in small groups with people matching your own level and doing organized group jumps with one of the coaches. The event is open for anyone from just finishing your A-license to experienced flyers that wanna rock hard core with some world class organizers.
Location
Skydive Arizona in Eloy AZ is without a doubt the most professional DZ on the planet. The home fleet consists of 4 Super Otters, 4 Skyvans, a DC-3, a Beech18, a Porter and a hot air balloon. The weather is almost always right and if that’s not enough, the super fast 14 foot wind tunnel is standing right on the DZ!
Freefly & Wingsuit
We have both freefly and wingsuit coaches available for the camp. For registration we ask you to pick a discipline as your main interest but apart from that, freeflyers are welcome to bring their wingsuit along for a couple of flock flights and vice-versa. You can book coaching jumps in both disciplines if you wish. Never did wingsuit before? This is your chance to learn! Or how about just a rodeo?…
A limited amount of slots are available to ensure the right participant/coach ratio. Various packages are on offer, for teams and individuals, dates are 2-15 March 2014. More info on the Tora-Tora website.
DUTCH FREEFLY CUP
The Dutch Freefly Cup is a 3-way artistic freefly competition without compulsory rounds, open to all levels and nationalities. The idea is to motivate freeflyers to form a team and be creative; put together a routine within your own capabilities. You’ll be judged on smoothness, synchronization, creativity/originality, camerawork, variation and difficulty.
Prizes
The Freefly Cup will take place at Rotterdam, 14 & 15 September 2013. The biggest prize is the honor of being the first ever Dutch Freefly Cup winner!bAside from that we have some interesting prizes to give away, and not just for the winning team. If you don’t have a camera flyer, we might have one for you. More info on the Tora-Tora website.
