Squirrel is offering a free wingsuit, lessons, and a trip to sunny Southern California. The winner gets professional wingsuit instruction from Taya Weiss and Will Kitto in his/her new custom Swift, and to carve up the skies over Perris together with Taya, Will and friends. A flight ticket to LAX from any major US airport. Plus hotel, food, transport to Perris… and an awesome video made about your trip to brag with when you get home.
Squirrel’s CEO Matt Gerdes commented, “I think it’s the first time that anyone in the skydive industry has done anything like this… it’s part of our plan to reinvest 100% of our profits this year back into the sport”
How do you qualify?
The aim of the competition is to train and qualify a new wingsuiter, so to enter you must have over 200 skydives, but with less than 20 wingsuit jumps, or be a total beginner. You must be available for a first flight course between 4-9 December, 2013 and get yourself to a major US airport in order to fly to LAX. You must add Matt & Mike as Facebook friends, and ‘like’ Squirrel. Various kit rules apply, see conditions on website.
How do you play?
Tell Squirrel how many stitches there are, visible on the front of the suit on this picture; you can download the high res photo from Squirrel Contest. A stitch in this case is defined as a length of thread between 2 needle holes. Of course you can’t see them all well enough, so you’ll have to make an educated guess. Good luck!
