Sandy Reid of Rigging Innovations shows us around the CPX, a model based on the popular Curv but adapted for accuracy.
The shape of the CPX accommodates accuracy canopies, – generally much larger than regular sport canopies – in an ergonomic profile; short, deep and held into the body tightly with the Curv-based shape, and with a yoke that takes the weight off the shoulders. So, a relatively heavy weight is carried with ease and comfort. This makes it very popular with accuracy jumpers, especially smaller persons. Traditional accuracy rigs are long and straight, making an opening between the rig and small jumpers, unlike the CPX, which fits snugly to the body.
