Collapsing your canopy after landing
How to gather your canopy after landing, especially on a windy day.
- Turn around and face your canopy
- Release one toggle and pull the other in
- Run to the downwind side of your canopy
- Stow your brakes
- If necessary shake the canopy to release air
- Loop the lines and gather the canopy in your arms
- Grab the D-bag
- Loop the bridle and grab the pilot chute
- Watch out for other canopies as you walk in
