Weembi Celebration Party
When we have a dream we create a plan to make it real, right ? On the road we always find obstacles and challenges where we have to stay positive, you might find out that you can reach a higher level of patience and perseverance. On November 4th (after 3 years of hard work), the directors of WEEMBI decided to thank a large part of the actors involved in the construction and promotion of the tunnel at a party and special show dedicated to them.
What was special for this show ?
Lise Hernandez, who created and had been developing the flight with music (Indoor Skydancing, Freestyle with music or whatever you want to call it), helped to create the show. Tunnel flyers (Lise and Noe Pottier) and professional dancers (Crazy Girls) outside the tunnel were performing with the sound of music, lights, special effects and costumes for each routine. The biggest challenge was to find a way to synchronize the speed of the wind with the routines – since there was 15 minutes non stop, not all the tricks can be done at one speed !
Of course the free Champagne couldn’t miss for the special occasion! Santé!
What is next for Weembi ?
Weembinamic in December
Wembynamic will be the place for those persons who like to challenge their skills in Formation Skydiving (FS) and Dynamic, this competition will be the 1st inside a 17” wind tunnel, yes !Go Big! . This will happen on December 16th and 17th, all teams and levels are welcome. The 2 way dynamic meet will be organized by Domi Kiger and David Petracco, it will be only Speed round battles. The FS will be in the charges of Julien Degen and he will prepare a 1st FS8 way battle.
France Indoor Skydiving Nationals – March (last weekend)
France and many other countries will start to select their athletes through their National Indoor Competitions, Weembi will be the host for France’s Indoor Skydiving Nationals. They will welcome as well other competitors from other countries to enter (in an Open category).
