Collapsing your canopy after landing

How to gather your canopy after landing, especially on a windy day.

  1. Turn around and face your canopy
  2. Release one toggle and pull the other in
  3. Run to the downwind side of your canopy
  4. Stow your brakes
  5. If necessary shake the canopy to release air
  6. Loop the lines and gather the canopy in your arms
  7. Grab the D-bag
  8. Loop the bridle and grab the pilot chute
  9. Watch out for other canopies as you walk in
