The Dynamic discipline is exploding, with many competitions being flown all over the world, sometimes with different rule variations. This was the first dynamic event of its kind: I decided to make this competition a full race from start to finish, after all 8 rounds.
Teams all had to fly a certain pattern as quickly as they could, with their time being accumulated throughout all 8 rounds. [Other events have awarded points for each round, meaning a poor round had less of an affect on the position. Sometimes artistic rounds are also included.]

The First Round
Team Darial got off to a good start, flying a clean round with no busts. Mini Maktoum, a team from Dubai had kids so young it was fascinating to watch… the future of the sport is promising with all these young kids flying incredibly well, with no difference in their skills compared to anyone else.
Team Dynamos were fast but had a bad first round. These guys [Jamie & Ricard] were impressive, as this was their third discipline in the same competition and they were the only team to do so. They competed in 4-way FS (AA), free fly and dynamic, so good effort on their behalf!

Tight Race
Many teams flew fast but had a few busts, which penalized them. The new format of this discipline was a success and all competitors loved it. All teams were close with each other at the end of the competition with only seconds between the top teams. Just to give you an idea one bust is 5 seconds. So the top teams were neck and neck the whole way knowing that a bust can make a difference between a podium position or not.

Results
Darial kept their cool throughout and held onto their first position. iFly Singapore placed second, with Mini Maktoum a close third. It was a great competition and shows a promising future for free flying. Bodyflight Bedford as always did an amazing job with running the event and everything was a huge success.
