Flight-1 extremely excited to welcome these new instructors to the team! Wez Westley from Great Britain and Marco Arrigo from Italy have joined them to expand resources in the European region. Justin Price and Kenneth Gajda are new additions to the North American team and PD Factory Team Member Gage Galle, who is already an experienced instructor for the Flight-1 military side, is now available for sports education. Congratulations all!
The guys recently completed a week of intense training in Deland and were joined by a few veteran instructors, Martin Lemay and Philippe Thibodeau, who made the trip down from Canada to continue their training and are now qualified to run 200 series. Pete Allum was here as well and trained for Flight-1’s unique Air-2-Air courses.

New instructors is something that is not taken lightly. Each new candidate must complete a thorough application process and be screened by founding members to ensure the standard of canopy flight education offered at Flight-1. Once the candidate is invited to join the team, they must still pass in depth training for each module and be evaluated yet again before they are clear to teach. The specialized instructor training ensures a consistent curriculum to Flight-1 students throughout the world. You can take a different course with a different instructor at a different geographical location and feel confident in seamless progression.
