Safety issue when the student’s bridle wraps around the instructor’s Go-Pro

This video is another example of an instructor putting his student in a very dangerous situation, because of using a camera.

Isn’t it better to add an outside real cameraman to film the jump, like everybody did many years ago? Of course you have to pay for it, and yes the jump will be a little more expensive for the student, but safer for sure. Anyways, skydiving is not a cheap sport.

PLEASE, if you are in charge of a student, use an external cameraman or at least take care of the way you are protecting your cameras. [Have a release mechanism and avoid snag points, see C for Camera for details]
