These are the first ever wingsuit BASE jumps from a cliff in the UAE and Oman!
This is a preview of the online series that will be released over the next several months. Over the past year I have spent countless hours researching, exploring, and jumping in the beautiful mountains of the UAE and Oman. I have discovered over 100 new exit points to jump from and this video highlights some of my favorite jumps that I opened over the past year (to open an exit point/jump is to be the first person to BASE jump the location). The spectacular terrain and lines that can be flown are like nothing else I have ever seen or done before.
This is a very special project of mine and I am passionate in giving everything I have to safely BASE jump here. From compiling data to create accurate terrain profiles to befriending the local people in the surrounding areas, I take great pride in my work. Some of the jumps you see are at the limit of what can be done wingsuit BASE jumping. In other words, it is only suitable for a select few wingsuit pilots due to the technical nature of some of the starts and terrain features. I have kept the location of the jumps secret until now.
I have put in numerous hours studying terrain both online via topography map and by foot via hiking expeditions. I have spent endless hours driving the tiny dirt packed mountain roads (I have gone through 2 cars in the process) and have spent days and weeks living outside in these breathtaking locations. In short, this project has consumed my life this past year; hence the title “Blood, Sweat and Tears.”
