AXIS Foundations of Flight – Head Up (Sit-fly) Neutral Position

AXIS Flight School Instructor Niklas Daniel demonstrates the Head-Up neutral position, and provides additional excises to strengthen balance and increase range of motion.

Checklist

  • Proud chest
  • Straight spine
  • Elbows high
  • Tilt pelvis forward
  • Pronate feet
  • Knock Knees

Avoid

  • Looking down
  • Pushing on the relative wind with your hands

Hints

  • At first, only allow the relative wind to make contact with the inside of your legs
  • Push your heels firmly into the wind
