This spring we teamed up with wingsuit manufacturer Squirrel to offer a prize every month of spring and summer, culminating in the fantastic prize of a Squirrel Wingsuit!
We were grateful to Squirrel’s generosity. Besides the monthly prizes it’s worth to mention that the big prize is BIG – a Swift 4 basic price is 1.350 USD, a Freak 4‘s is 1.695 USD and a CR+ costs 1.790 USD, just to give a few examples. 🙂
How do you win?
Send us a photo of your FUN FACE! The best expression every month gets a prize. The best #funface of the season wins the wingsuit, and there are just two weeks to go…
How to Enter
- Post your #funface photo on Facebook and/or Instagram
- Include photographer name and tag them, hashtag #funface, tag Skydive Mag and Squirrel – and any more info you wish
- email us the photo with the photographer name and @ handle, date, location and what it was about that moment that created such elation

Funface Winners
Skydive Mag choose the best funface each month, from those submitted in that month. We are looking for a ‘Wow’ expression that captures the joy of our activity – it can be skydive or BASE – in freefall, at an exit point, landing… anything as long as you’re clearly doing the sport. The happiest funface is the bottom line criteria. Ideally the image has good composition and quality but it’s the euphoric feeling of the shot that is more important.
Prizes
The monthly winners have received Squirrel swag as below, then each of their photos is entered into the final. The overall winner will be the Skydive/BASE best, most blissful, joyous, downright orgasmic funface of the season. The winner will be announced on Friday 2 October – International Smile Day – and wins a Squirrel wingsuit of his/her choice. Every photo that is entered into the competition is automatically entered into the final, whether day 1 or the last minute (30 September 2021).

Rules
The grand prize of the Squirrel Wingsuit is valid for any tracking suit or wingsuit up to ATC 3. Above that the winner pays the difference to upgrade. The suit must to be made for the winner in their measurements, it is not transferrable or refundable and has no cash value.
To enter you must have the photographer’s permission, post your funface on social media with the hashtags #funface @photographer @SkydiveMag @Squirrel and email the photo to Skydive Mag with the photographer’s name and any Instagram/FB handle, and short description. If you aren’t on social media, get a friend to post it for you. If you don’t have any friends we can’t help you… and you need more than a wingsuit 😉
Desirables
There aren’t really any other rules. You can enter as many times as you like, no-one is excluded. We would prefer the photo is taken in the month it is submitted, and this may be reflected in our choice of winners.
