Wind Tunnel on Cruise Ship

Visit Us

Quantum-class vessels are being designed for the next generation of cruise ship, with Royal Caribbean promising that their new models will have innovations never seen before. Quantum of the Seas will be launched in autumn 2014, to be followed by Anthem of the Seas in spring 2015. Each carries over 4,000 passengers and will feature unique entertainment offered for the first time at sea.

The more astonishing are the circus school with flying trapezes, a complete aqua park on the top deck, and an indoor pool with an opening roof. Even the inside accommodation will have rooms with a view; they include virtual balconies offering ‘real-time views of the sea outside’.

To add to the lunacy and keep the coffers continually rolling, a wind tunnel is planned so Royal Caribbean can offer skydiving at sea for the first time.
