Canopy control market leader, Flight-1, is pleased to announce a number of additional courses to its product line for 2014.
103 Airmanship – canopy collision avoidance
In light of the increased canopy dangers at our ever busier drop zones, Flight-1 is launching the ‘Flight-1 103 Airmanship Course’. Flight-1 recognizes that canopy training traditionally focuses on flying alone in a controlled environment. Afterwards the skydiver goes back to normal jumping. The 103 course applies the skills learnt in previous courses to the busy skydiving environment and develops personal skills in areas of equipment and successfully dealing with canopy collisions.
As previously announced Flight-1 will also be adding the 300 series to the sports portfolio.
301 Precision
The ‘Flight-1 301 Precision Performance Course’ is the course for experienced pilots who want to develop their turns and high performance landings. It introduces a logical progression to increasing power and bringing accuracy into the landing, ready for courses and gates.

302 Competition
The ‘Flight-1 302 Competition Canopy Piloting Course’ covers the fundamentals of competing we all need when new to the competition environment. It helps the pilot focus on what is important and how to manage personal skills and tactics to ensure best performance.
Sport Air to Air Program
Finally Flight-1 is also launching its exciting flagship Sport Air to Air Program in 2014.
202 Flying Relative
The ‘Flight-1 201A Flying Relative Course’ teaches essential control when flying relative with each other. The student must pass each level in order to progress to the next set of more complex maneuvers. This course offers the fastest learning curve to pure intuitive flying skills.
202 Team Flying
The ‘Flight-1 202A Team Flying Course’ takes the student into dynamic team flying and landings. Again on successful demonstration of team skills, the pilot is taken into advanced team formations and turns. This is the ultimate wind tunnel for canopy pilots.
PD Factory Team
As with the previous courses offered by Flight-1, these new products have been developed from the vast experience of the PD Factory Team. The comprehensive range of courses offered keeps Flight-1 as the lead provider to the canopy control market.
