Let’s welcome the new sport product Atlas to the skydiving world! It was developed responding to extensive feedback from customers using Neptunes, keeping what they liked and making suggested improvements.
Atlas has all the proven functionality of the well-known Neptune N3 with reduced edges and corners, along with a ruggedized machined aluminum case. USB charging and data transfer has been improved through an upgraded Micro USB port.
Atlas fits in the current hard mount for N3; an elastic wrist band mount specifically for this instrument is in the works (lessons learned from the N3 mount experience). Like everything in the Alti-2 range the Atlas is waterproof, so is great for canopy pilots. It has 8 selectable alarm groups that can be used in freefall or under canopy, and can carry 200 detailed profiles and 2500 summary logs.
Atlas will be available in Red, Blue, Silver, and Black. The Atlas was demonstrated at Alti-2’s booth at PIA Symposium in Daytona Beach and are taking orders now.
