Paragliding Mastery! At the WPPGA Supertraining in Aug 2012, Dell ‘SUPERDELL’ Schanze earned the nickname ‘SPIDERDELL’ from the locals! A student stated: *”It was a hit!… The crowd went wild… SPIDERDELL is in the building!”*
The local children at the event were running around yelling *”araña, araña,”* which means *”spider, spider.”*
There are very few people in the world who have mastered the art of glider control like Dell Schanze. The skill it takes to manipulate and control a glider like this takes a lifetime to achieve. The students said it increased their level of confidence in the sport, knowing that their instructor could do things like that.
