The Vector V3 (303) is the prettiest beast I’ve ever flown and it just fits me like a glove! I never want to jump another rig again!
Overall opinion out of 10
9.5 – I love this rig – I just cannot stow my slider, it’s too high up.
Who is the Vector V3 suitable for?
Anybody who feels like jumping out of a plane really. If you can afford it, don’t hold back!
How does it look?
It looks fantastic, I love how small it is and the way they did the embroidery!
How long have you had the rig?
I got the rig November 2013 and now have about 100 jumps on it.

How does it feel?
I got it at the women’s head-down record in November 2013. The first jump I did with it was a massive big-way for the warm ups. Also I bought a new Cookie helmet. So to be honest having a new rig, new helmet and doing big ways that were far beyond my comfort zone was a bit daunting. I had to get used to how it felt on my back, what it did to the wind flow and how long the chest strap was. The first jump I was struggling with the visor on my helmet, the chest strap excess came loose in free fall and all that on a jump that was challenging enough in itself made for some discomfort, which was totally my own fault.
However, now it just feels like I never want to jump another rig ever again.
Best point
The way it fits, looks, feels and flies.
Worst point
It would be nice to wrap my slider away but it’s not a biggie.
Would you buy it again and/or recommend to someone else?
OUI! OUI! YES YES YES!!
The Vector V3 is available from United Parachute Technologies
