Extreme Barcelona is an international action sports cup, a celebration of exciting sports with huge spectator appeal. Aspects include BMX, Longboarding, Inline skating, Skateboard, scooter, FMX, MTB and now – indoor skydiving!! 2-way and 4-way dynamic competitions are on the agenda, hosted at Windoor, Empuriabrava.
Showcasing New Trends
Held 28-29 June, Barcelona will once again be hosting one of the world’s top action sports events. The Parc del Fòrum will attract top urban and extreme sports riders in the fifth of these meetings which draw huge crowds and showcase new trends in sport. From 2008 to 2011 the Extreme Games became the biggest annual exhibition of action sports with each year’s competition attracting some 35,000 spectators.
International Competitions
In 2014, Extreme Barcelona 2014 is making a firm commitment to showcasing international competitions including the World Skateboard, BMX, Moto X, Inline and Scooter series. To see international competition in 2WD and 4WD included alongside these sports is an exciting development!
Visitor participation
During the games, there will be places where visitors can practise these sports as well as a full programme of complementary activities and experiences they can join in. Spectator tickets for all events are on sale from March onwards.
