Three Mexican Skydiving Records in Two Days

Visit Us

The Skydive Monkey Head airfield hosted an event unprecedented in the history of national skydiving, with three new records set in a single event. This record event sets a significant milestone for the skydiving in Mexico, showcasing the talent and dedication of our athletes.

Prior to the records, an opening event was held in a Mexico City cinema, Cine Tonalá, where the project and its participating athletes were introduced, alongside the sponsors, friends, and family members who offered their unwavering support.

The newly achieved records are:

• FF (Freefly – head-down vertical flight) 15-way

• WS (Vertical Wingsuit) 9-way

• Mexican Women’s Record 22-way

The jumps were performed from a Casa 212 aircraft, with conditions proving ideal for both the jumps themselves and the ground crew.

This event not only highlights the capabilities of our skydivers but also promotes safe skydiving practices in our country, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie, skill, and personal achievement.

The enthusiastic participation of athletes and teams from across the country was instrumental to the success of this historic event.

We extend our gratitude to all the sponsors, organizers, and—especially—the brave skydivers whose effort and dedication made this achievement possible.
