This unique event, running from 15-22 February 2025, combines adventure, culture, and community outreach, making it not just another boogie, but a chance to make a lasting impact. Hosted by Fyre Parachute founders Moe Abdullah and Kesho Haytham, the STX Boogie is a feel-good, do-good event that fuses skydiving thrills with a dedication to giving back.
A Boogie with Heart
Fyre Parachute, known for hosting epic exotic tropical boogies in destinations like the Maldives, Venezuela, Bahamas and Sharm El Sheikh, has found a new paradise in St Croix. To ensure this event is as impactful as it is exhilarating, Moe and Kesho brought on Fiona Horne—a local pilot, skydiver, and long-time resident of St Croix—as director of the STX Boogie. With Fiona’s vested interest in environmental conservation and local youth outreach, this boogie aims to leave a positive legacy on the island.
In September, Moe and Fiona spent a week on St. Croix meeting with local authorities and vendors, scouting drop zones, and building an exciting youth outreach program in partnership with the island’s Air National Guard. This initiative gives local high school students the chance to meet skydivers, learn about careers in aviation, and be inspired to pursue their dreams. “We wanted this boogie to be more than just a skydive event,” says Fiona. “We want to give back to the island and inspire the next generation to aim high—literally.”

Feel Good, Do Good
The STX Boogie will also raise awareness for the island’s endangered sea turtles through a special Turtle Watch beach jump. Skydivers will form a unique turtle formation before landing on Sandy Point, a protected beach, promoting the conservation efforts of Turtle Watch, which has operated on the island since 1997. After landing, the motto is educational and simple: “leave only footprints.”

Jump in Comfort and Style
Fyre Parachute are partnering with Bohlke International Airways, a long-time award-winning local fixed base operator and fuel provider, who have clean, comfortable facilities and a professional, welcoming environment. Skydivers can make multiple jumps each day, from a Cessna Super Caravan that’s ready to crank out load after load over the turquoise Caribbean waters.
Safety is the top priority at the STX Boogie. A trained first aid and water safety crew, West End Watersports, is on standby. With jet skis ready for quick retrieval, their experienced team will quickly assist should anyone land in the water.
Boogie Nights and Local Culture
After a full day of jumps, participants can enjoy night activities like beachfront welcome dinners with fire dancers and moko jumbies, rooftop dancing with ocean views, elegant poolside parties, and a sunset sailing trip included. The local Leatherback Brewing Company not only offers their craft beer and great pizzas but also serves as Drop Zone B if weather conditions make beach landings tricky. On one evening, it’s planned for skydivers to jump here, land in the brewery’s huge field, grab a cold drink, and enjoy live music and crab races, in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Boogie participants also benefit from special offers on island tours and opportunities to learn about St Croix’s unique cultural heritage and creative community.

The accommodation is on a chill private island at Hotel on the Cay, (with a free 5-minute ferry ride to the main island 24-hours a day) and the luxury waterfront sister property, King Christian Hotel.
